The Bluejays now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Topeka for a Centennial test on Friday, November 1. Junction City will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 49-24 non-league loss to Pittsburg (Pittsburg, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Emporia drops to 0-8 on the campaign. The Spartans host Eisenhower (Goddard, KS) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Thursday, October 31. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-2. Eisenhower lost 31-28 in their recent non-league match against Northwest (Wichita, KS)
