October 25, 2024: Hagerstown, MD 21740 Francis Scott Key Eagles (Union Bridge, MD) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host South Hagerstown Rebels (Hagerstown, MD), 28-12 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Francis Scott Key advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Eagles host South Carroll (Sykesville, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a Carroll County battle on Friday, November 1. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 3-5. South Carroll lost 21-8 in their recent league battle against Century (Sykesville, MD)
The Rebels now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host North Hagerstown for a Washington County battle on Saturday, November 2. South Hagerstown will play a Hubs team coming off a 28-27 league loss to Boonsboro (Boonsboro, MD). The Hubs record now stands at 3-5.
