October 25, 2024: Seymour, TN 37865 In Friday's non-league game, the Oneida Indians (Oneida, TN) football team edged the host King's Academy Lions (Seymour, TN), by a tally of 24-20.
In their next game, the Indians face the Bledsoe County Warriors (Pikeville, TN) in a 2A Region 2 test, on Thursday, October 31. Oneida will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 8-1 record after their 45-35 non-league win over Gordonsville (Gordonsville, TN).
With the defeat, King's Academy drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Lions host Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN) to meet the Commanders in a Division II-A East test on Friday, November 1. The Commanders come into the test with a record of 6-3. Friendship Christian won 35-12 in their recent league test against Ezell-Harding Christian (Antioch, TN)
