In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Point Loma Pointers football squad scored a good 34-20 triumph over the La Jolla Vikings.

The Pointers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Cathedral Catholic (San Diego, CA). The Dons come into the Western match with a 7-2 record. In their last match, Cathedral Catholic defeated Madison (San Diego, CA), 55-6, in a league match.
