Lafayette Lancers (Wildwood, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Marquette Mustangs (Chesterfield, MO), 38-16 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lafayette improves its record to 8-1 on the season. The Lancers host Parkway Central (Chesterfield, MO) to play the Colts in a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. The Colts go into the battle with a record of 1-8. Parkway Central won 40-0 in their recent league battle against McCluer North (Florissant, MO)

The Mustangs now have a 4-5 record.
