Texas High School Football - Lee sneaks past Santa Fe
October 25, 2024: Santa Fe, TX 77510 The Lee Ganders football squad scored 17 points and limited the host Santa Fe Indians to 14 in the Ganders league triumph on Friday.
The Ganders now hold a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar Consolidated for a 5A-2 Region III District 9 test on Friday, November 1. Lee will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 45-17 league loss to Texas City (Texas City, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-7.
With the defeat, Santa Fe drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Randle (Richmond, TX) to meet the Lions in a 5A-2 Region III District 9 test on Thursday, October 31. The Lions come into the test with a record of 8-0. Randle won 58-0 in their recent league test against Terry (Rosenberg, TX)
