October 25, 2024: West Point, VA 23181 The West Point Pointers football squad scored 68 points and limited the visiting Mathews Blue Devils to 0 in the Pointers league triumph on Friday.
The Pointers now hold a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to King William for a Tidewater test on Friday, November 1. West Point will meet a Cavaliers squad coming off a 21-17 non-league win over Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 2-6.
With the defeat, Mathews drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Charles City (Charles City, VA) to meet the Panthers in a Tidewater test on Friday, November 1. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-8. Charles City lost 34-20 in their recent league test against King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA)
