Oregon High School Football - McLoughlin trounced by Vale
October 25, 2024: Vale, OR 97918 Vale Vikings (Vale, OR) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR), 69-7 in a league battle.
With the win, Vale advances its record to 8-0 on the season. The Vikings travel to Nyssa (Nyssa, OR) to encounter the Bulldogs in a 3A Special District 6 battle on Friday, November 1. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Nyssa lost 55-0 in their recent league battle against Burns (Burns, OR)
The Pioneers now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a 2A Special District 6 (9 Man) battle on Friday, November 1. McLoughlin will encounter a Pirates team coming off a 44-20 league loss to Weston-McEwen/Griswold (Athena, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 2-6.
