Maryland High School Football - St. Mary's thwarted by Mount St. Joseph
October 25, 2024: Annapolis, MD 21401 Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD), 34-14 in a league battle.
With the win, Mount St. Joseph improves its record to 4-5 on the season. The Gaels host Archbishop Spalding (Severn, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a MIAA A battle on Saturday, November 2. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 9-0. Archbishop Spalding won 56-3 in their recent league battle against Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD)
The Saints now have a 0-10 record. They play next when they travel to Severn School for a MIAA B battle on Friday, November 1. St. Mary's will play a Admirals team coming off a 32-14 league win over Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Admirals record now stands at 6-3.
