In Friday's league match, the visiting Pulaski County Maroons football squad scored a decisive 43-7 victory over the Southwestern Warriors.

The Maroons (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Corbin (Corbin, KY). The Redhounds enter the non-league match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Corbin routed Perry County Central (Hazard, KY), 49-3, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Henry Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 1. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Blue Devils enter the match with a 1-8 record after their 38-25 league loss to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY).
