The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Ragsdale Tigers (Jamestown, NC) and the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), witnessed Ragsdale's football squad wallop Southwest Guilford by a tally of 44-7.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets enter the Metro 4A contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Western Guilford was trounced by Northern Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 49-14, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Cowboys battle the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) in a Metro 4A contest, on Friday, November 1. Southwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 7-2 record after their 21-14 league win over Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
