October 25, 2024: St. Helens, OR 97051 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Seaside Seagulls (Seaside, OR) and the host St. Helens Lions (St. Helens, OR), witnessed Seaside's football squad wallop St. Helens by a tally of 63-6.
The Seagulls (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tillamook (Tillamook, OR). The Cheesemakers enter the 4A Special District 1 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Tillamook crushed Milwaukie/Milwaukie Academy of the Arts (Milwaukie, OR), 45-7, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Lions battle the Astoria Fishermen (Astoria, OR) in a 4A Special District 1 contest, on Friday, November 1. St. Helens will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Fishermen enter the contest with a 1-8 record after their 35-0 league loss to Scappoose (Scappoose, OR).
