In Friday's league match, the host Vardaman Rams football squad scored a good 47-16 triumph over the Smithville Seminoles.

The Rams (8-0) will now prepare for their match against Okolona (Okolona, MS). The Chieftains come into the 1A Region 4 match with a 4-5 record. In their last match, Okolona defeated West Lowndes (Columbus, MS), 7-0, in a league match.
