The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) and the visiting Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), witnessed Golden Valley's football squad wallop Saugus by a tally of 40-7.

The Grizzlies (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Cowboys enter the contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Canyon was trounced by West Ranch (Valencia, CA), 40-6, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Centurions confront the Hart Hawks (Newhall, CA) in a contest, on Friday, November 1. Saugus will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Hawks enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 30-24 league loss to Valencia (Valencia, CA).
