October 25, 2024: King, NC 27021 The West Stokes Wildcats soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Carver Yellowjackets to 2 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Friday.
The Wildcats now hold a 12-2 record. They play next when they host McMichael for a Mid-State 2A bout on Monday, October 28. West Stokes will play a Phoenix squad coming off a 1-0 league win over T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Carver moves to 12-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest Piedmont 1A test on Monday, October 28. The Cardinals come into the test with a record of 8-7. Cornerstone Charter lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC)
