October 25, 2024: New Orleans, LA 70117 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Morris Jeff Pelicans (New Orleans, LA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Newman improves its record to 21-12 on the season. The Greenies host Academy of the Sacred Heart (New Orleans, LA) to face the Cardinals in a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 24-6. Academy of the Sacred Heart won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Salmen (Slidell, LA)
The Pelicans now own a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, October 26. Morris Jeff will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Helena College and Career Academy (Greensburg, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-7.
