New York High School Football - Garden City trounces Calhoun
October 25, 2025: Merrick, NY 11566 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Garden City Trojans football squad scored a decisive 51-7 victory over the Calhoun Colts.
The Trojans (7-0) will now prepare for their match against New Hyde Park Memorial (New Hyde Park, NY). The Gladiators enter the Section 8 Conference II match with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, New Hyde Park Memorial walloped Kennedy (Bellmore, NY), 54-14, in a league battle.
The Colts now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Baldwin for a Section 8 Conference II battle on Saturday, November 1. Calhoun will play a Bruins team coming off a 40-0 league loss to Mepham (North Bellmore, NY). The Bruins record now stands at 3-4.
