New York High School Football - Long Beach sneaks past MacArthur
October 25, 2025: Levittown, NY 11756 The Long Beach Marines football squad scored 14 points and limited the host MacArthur Generals to 7 in the Marines league triumph on Saturday.
The Marines now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Valley Stream Central for a Section 8 Conference I challenge on Saturday, November 1. Long Beach will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 38-14 league win over Roslyn/Friends Academy (Roslyn Heights, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, MacArthur drops to 2-5 on the campaign. The Generals host Kennedy (Bellmore, NY) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Saturday, November 1. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 3-3. Kennedy lost 54-14 in their recent league test against New Hyde Park Memorial (New Hyde Park, NY)
