October 25, 2025: Wyandanch, NY 11798 The West Islip Lions (West Islip, NY) football trounced the host Wyandanch Warriors (Wyandanch, NY), 41-0 in Saturday's league outing.
The Lions now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sayville for a Section 11 Division III game on Saturday, November 1. West Islip will battle a Golden Flashes squad coming off a 28-14 league win over East Hampton-Bridgehampton-Pierson (East Hampton, NY). The Golden Flashes record now stands at 7-0.
With the defeat, Wyandanch drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Harborfields (Greenlawn, NY) to clash with the Tornadoes in a Section 11 Division III outing on Saturday, November 1. The Tornadoes come into the outing with a record of 2-5. Harborfields lost 24-14 in their recent league outing against Comsewogue (Port Jefferson Station, NY)
