October 25, 2025: Wakefield, MA 01880 Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) boosters were content Saturday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA), 24-8 in a non-league match.
The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Burlington (Burlington, MA). The Red Devils come into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Burlington defeated Watertown (Watertown, MA), 16-14, in a non-league match.
Next up, the Spartans play the Melrose Red Hawks (Melrose, MA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, November 1. Stoneham will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Red Hawks go into the battle with a 8-0 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Wilmington (Wilmington, MA).
