Michigan High School Volleyball - Detroit Community can't get by Edison Academy
October 25, 2025: Detroit, MI 48207 Edison Academy Pioneers (Detroit, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Detroit Community Hurricanes (Detroit, MI), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Edison Academy improves its record to 11-5 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Chandler Park Academy (Harper Woods, MI) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, October 25. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 6-1. Chandler Park Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Pontiac Academy for Excellence (Pontiac, MI)
The Hurricanes now own a 7-2 record.
