Virginia High School Football - Craig County smashes Montcalm
October 26, 2021: New Castle, VA 24127 The Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) football routed the visiting Montcalm Generals (Montcalm, WV), 40-8 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Rockets face the Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA) in a Pioneer bout, on Friday, October 29. Craig County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Green Waves enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 46-14 league win over Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA).
The Generals (2-6) will now prepare for their bout against Hurley (Hurley, VA). The Rebels enter the non-league bout with a 1-5 record. In their last bout, Hurley was overwhelmed by Van (Van, WV), 36-13, in a non-league battle.
