October 26, 2022: Lovingston, VA 22949 The Nelson County Governors football team (Lovingston, VA), was tipped 14-8 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA)
The Colonels (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Cavaliers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Chatham was tipped by Dan River (Ringgold, VA), 12-6, in a non-league challenge.
The Governors now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gretna for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 2. Nelson County will meet a Hawks team coming off a 65-0 non-league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-3.
