October 26, 2023: Suffolk, VA 23434 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Booker T. Washington Mighty Bookers (Norfolk, VA) and the host Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), saw Booker T. Washington's volleyball squad beat Lakeland by a tally of 3-1.
With the win, Booker T. Washington upgrades its record to 1-13 on the year. The Mighty Bookers travel to Gloucester (Gloucester, VA) to play the Dukes in a non-league bout on Monday, October 30. The Dukes go into the bout with a record of 18-0. Gloucester won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Woodside (Newport News, VA)
The Cavaliers now own a 0-20 record.
