October 26, 2023: Blaine, WA 98230 The Blaine Borderites football team (Blaine, WA), was ripped 49-2 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA)
The Pioneers (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Granite Falls (Granite Falls, WA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-2 record. In their last challenge, Granite Falls trounced South Whidbey (Langley, WA), 56-31, in a league challenge.
The Borderites now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 3. Blaine will meet a Rivals team coming off a 48-13 league loss to Bellevue Christian (Clyde Hill, WA). The Rivals record now stands at 0-8.
