New York High School Football - Flushing thwarted by Lehman
October 26, 2024: Bronx, NY 10461 Lehman Lions (Bronx, NY) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Flushing Red Devils (Flushing, NY), 42-13 in a league battle.
With the win, Lehman improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Lions host John Jay (Cross River, NY) to play the Wolves in a non-league battle on Sunday, November 3. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 2-6.
The Red Devils now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Truman for a PSAL 3A battle on Sunday, November 3. Flushing will play a Mustangs team coming off a 20-0 league win over John Adams (Ozone Park, NY). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-0.
