Delaware High School Football - Wilmington Friends tops Mount Pleasant

October 26, 2024: Wilmington, DE 19803

The Wilmington Friends Quakers football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Mount Pleasant Green Knights to 13 in the Quakers league triumph on Saturday.

The Quakers now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tower Hill for a 2A District 2 test on Friday, November 1. Wilmington Friends will meet a Hillers squad coming off a 20-6 league win over Odessa (Townsend, DE). The Hillers record now stands at 5-3.

With the defeat, Mount Pleasant drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Green knights host Howard (Wilmington, DE) to meet the Wildcats in a 2A District 2 test on Saturday, November 2. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 5-3. Howard won 38-0 in their recent league test against Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE)
