Washington High School Soccer - Bothell knocks off Newport
October 26, 2024: Bothell, WA 98011 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Bothell Cougars (Bothell, WA) and the visiting Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA), saw Bothell's soccer squad prevail over Newport by a count of 5-1.
The Cougars (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Issaquah (Issaquah, WA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Issaquah tipped Redmond (Redmond, WA), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Kettle Falls Bulldogs (Kettle Falls, WA) in a 2B Bi-County battle, on Tuesday, October 29. Newport will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 0-13 record after their 14-2 league loss to Freeman (Rockford, WA).
