New York High School Football - Archbishop Stepinac thwarted by Cardinal Hayes
October 26, 2025: Bronx, NY 10451 Cardinal Hayes Cardinals (Bronx, NY) fans went home in high spirits Sunday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders (White Plains, NY), 30-0 in a non-league match.
The Cardinals (6-1) will now prepare for their match against St. Francis Prep (Fresh Meadows, NY). The Terriers come into the non-league match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, St. Francis Prep defeated Kellenberg Memorial (Uniondale, NY), 46-6, in a non-league match.
Coming up next, the Crusaders meet the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds (Uniondale, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 1. Archbishop Stepinac will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Firebirds go into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 42-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph-by-the-Sea (Staten Island, NY).
