Arkansas High School Basketball - Riverside holds off Calico Rock
October 27, 2022: Calico Rock, AR 72519 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Rebels (Lake City, AR) and the host Calico Rock Pirates (Calico Rock, AR), saw Riverside's basketball squad hold off Calico Rock by a tally of 53-49.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Armorel (Armorel, AR) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Pirates confront the Cotter Warriors (Cotter, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 28. Calico Rock will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 50-47 non-league win over Lead Hill (Lead Hill, AR).
