In Thursday's non-league contest, the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Raptor face the Bishop McGuinness Villains (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 29. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to better on its 19-3 season record. The Villains go into the contest with a 23-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Murphy (Murphy, NC).

With the loss, South Stokes moves to 10-16 on the year.
