October 27, 2023: Kentwood, LA 70444 Sumner Cowboys (Kentwood, LA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Albany Hornets (Albany, LA), 27-21 in a league test.
With the triumph, Sumner improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys travel to Amite (Amite, LA) to battle the Warriors in a 3A District 7 test on Friday, November 3. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-3. Amite lost 24-18 in their recent non-league test against Sterlington (Sterlington, LA)
With the loss, Albany drops to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hornets host Bogalusa (Bogalusa, LA) to battle the Lumberjacks in a 3A District 7 test on Friday, November 3. The Lumberjacks come into the test with a record of 4-4. Bogalusa won 42-21 in their recent league test against Pine (Franklinton, LA)
