Altavista Colonels (Altavista, VA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 50-26 in a league test.

With the win, Altavista improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Colonels travel to Chatham (Chatham, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Dogwood test on Friday, November 3. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 6-3. Chatham lost 44-7 in their recent league test against Gretna (Gretna, VA)
