Alabama High School Football - Northside Methodist Academy knocked off by Ashford
October 27, 2023: Dothan, AL 36303 Ashford Yellowjackets (Ashford, AL) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Northside Methodist Academy Knights (Dothan, AL), 40-20 in a league test.
With the triumph, Ashford improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Opp (Opp, AL) to battle the Bobcats in a 3A Region 2 test on Friday, November 3. The Bobcats come into the test with a record of 3-6. Opp lost 47-0 in their recent league test against Straughn (Andalusia, AL)
With the loss, Northside Methodist Academy drops to 2-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to New Brockton (New Brockton, AL) to battle the Gamecocks in a 3A Region 2 test on Friday, November 3. The Gamecocks come into the test with a record of 2-7. New Brockton lost 42-20 in their recent non-league test against Headland (Headland, AL)
