Game Story

California High School Football - Birmingham trounces Taft

October 27, 2023: Lake Balboa, CA 91406

In Friday's league match, the host Birmingham Patriots football squad scored a big 83-6 victory over the Taft Toreadors.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, November 9. Birmingham will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Gauchos enter the match with a 4-6 record after their 28-3 league loss to Gardena (Gardena, CA).

The Toreadors (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA). The Eagles enter the non-league match with a 5-5 record. In their last match, Eagle Rock was crushed by Franklin (Los Angeles, CA), 35-13, in a league match.
