The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Southmont Mounties (Crawfordsville, IN) and the visiting Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN), observed Southmont's football squad edge Cascade by a count of 22-21.

The Mounties now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Linton-Stockton for a non-league contest on Friday, November 3. Southmont will play a Miners squad coming off a 26-21 non-league win over Greencastle (Greencastle, IN). The Miners record now stands at 10-1.
