The Gaston Bulldogs football team (Gadsden, AL), was knocked off 50-20 in Friday's league challenge with the host Pleasant Valley Raiders (Jacksonville, AL)

The Raiders (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Weaver (Weaver, AL). The Bearcats come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Weaver was knocked off by Beulah (Valley, AL), 38-31, in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they host Brindlee Mountain for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 3. Gaston will meet a Lions team coming off a 61-0 league loss to Danville (Danville, AL). The Lions record now stands at 0-9.
