Arizona High School Football - Goldwater knocked off by Mountain Ridge

Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Goldwater Bulldogs (Phoenix, AZ), 42-12 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mountain Ridge improves its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions travel to O'Connor (Phoenix, AZ) to battle the Eagles in a 6A Desert Valley test on Friday, November 3. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 4-5. O'Connor won 49-6 in their recent league test against Valley Vista (Surprise, AZ)

With the loss, Goldwater drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ) to battle the Wildcats in a 5A Northwest test on Friday, November 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-7. Willow Canyon won 15-10 in their recent league test against Ironwood (Glendale, AZ)
