In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Great Bend Panthers football squad scored a good 38-24 victory over the Salina Central Mustangs.

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders (Wichita, KS) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 3. Great Bend will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Crusaders enter the match with a 8-1 record after their 63-7 non-league win over South (Salina, KS).
