The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Palo Alto Vikings (Palo Alto, CA) and the host Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), observed Palo Alto's football squad bounce Homestead by a tally of 42-0.

The Vikings now possess a 4-5 record. They play next when they host King's Academy for a De Anza contest on Thursday, November 2. Palo Alto will play a Knights squad coming off a 41-35 league win over Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.

Coming up next, the Mustangs play the Fremont Firebirds (Sunnyvale, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, November 3. Homestead will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Firebirds go into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 43-33 league loss to Carlmont (Belmont, CA).
