The Lake Dallas Falcons walloped the visiting Independence Knights football team by a count of 70-10 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Lake Dallas upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Denton (Denton, TX) to confront the Broncos in a 5A-2 Region I District 3 outing on Friday, November 3. The Broncos go into the outing with a record of 4-5. Denton lost 59-0 in their recent league outing against Argyle (Argyle, TX)

With the loss, Independence moves to 1-8 on the season. The Knights host Emerson (McKinney, TX) to confront the Mavericks in a 5A-2 Region I District 3 outing on Thursday, November 2. The Mavericks go into the outing with a record of 7-2. Emerson lost 36-35 in their recent league outing against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX)
