With the triumph, Slaton improves its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Brownfield (Brownfield, TX) to confront the Cubs in a 3A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, November 3. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 4-5. Brownfield won 52-23 in their recent league test against Kermit (Kermit, TX)

With the loss, Kermit drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Denver City (Denver City, TX) to confront the Mustangs in a 3A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, November 3.
