The Mineral Springs Hornets football squad scored 58 points and restricted the host Poyen Indians to 22 in the Hornets league victory on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murfreesboro for a 2A Region 3 battle on Thursday, November 2. Mineral Springs will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 28-14 league win over Lafayette County (Stamps, AR). The Rattlers record now stands at 10-0.

Coming up next, the Indians face the Conway Christian Eagles (Conway, AR) in a non-league battle, on Friday, November 10. Poyen will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record.
