October 27, 2023: London, KY 40741 The Wayne County Cardinals football team (Monticello, KY), was beaten 35-21 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Laurel Jaguars (London, KY)
The Jaguars (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 2-8 record. In their last challenge, East Jessamine achieved victory over Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 41-27, in a non-league challenge.
The Cardinals now sport a 6-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Corbin for a non-league challenge on Friday, November 3. Wayne County will meet a Redhounds team coming off a 55-0 league win over Perry County Central (Hazard, KY). The Redhounds record now stands at 10-0.
