October 27, 2023: Redding, CA 96001 The University Prep Panthers football team (Redding, CA), was beaten 18-7 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA)
The Miners (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-6 record. In their last challenge, West Valley was beaten by Anderson (Anderson, CA), 56-0, in a league challenge.
The Panthers now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a challenge on Friday, November 3. University Prep will meet a Falcons team coming off a 41-0 league loss to Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-9.
