The Cave Spring Knights football team (Roanoke, VA), was beaten 24-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA)

The Blue Demons (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars come into the River Ridge challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Pulaski County was beaten by Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 56-20, in a league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blacksburg for a River Ridge challenge on Friday, November 4. Cave Spring will meet a Bruins team coming off a 56-7 non-league loss to Graham (Bluefield, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 0-9.
