Texas High School Football - Sands crushed by Garden City
October 28, 2022: Garden City, TX 79739 Garden City Bearkats (Garden City, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX), 54-6 in a league test.
With the triumph, Garden City improves its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Bearkats travel to Rankin (Rankin, TX) to confront the Red Devils in a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 7 (6 Man) test on Friday, November 4. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 8-1. Rankin won 44-34 in their recent league test against Borden County (Gail, TX)
With the loss, Sands drops to 2-8 on the campaign.
