In Friday's league match, the visiting Houston Academy Raiders football squad scored a close 21-20 victory over the Pike County Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Mobile Christian Leopards (Mobile, AL) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 4. Houston Academy will attempt to move on its 10-0 season record. The Leopards enter the match with a 3-7 record after their 34-7 league win over Thomasville (Thomasville, AL).
