Kermit Yellow Jackets (Kermit, TX) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Slaton Tigers (Slaton, TX), 12-9 in a league test.

With the triumph, Kermit improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Yellow Jackets host Denver City (Denver City, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 3A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, November 4. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 5-4. Denver City won 47-10 in their recent league test against Lamesa (Lamesa, TX)

With the loss, Slaton drops to 0-9 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX) to battle the Cubs in a 3A-1 Region I District 1 test on Friday, November 4. The Cubs come into the test with a record of 7-2. Brownfield won 52-0 in their recent league test against Kermit (Kermit, TX)
