In Friday's non-league match, the host Northern Highlands Highlanders football squad scored a good 27-12 victory over the Montgomery Cougars.

In their next game, the Highlanders clash with the Irvington Blue Knights (Irvington, NJ) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 4. Northern Highlands will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record. The Blue Knights enter the match with a 8-2 record after their 38-7 non-league win over Sayreville (Parlin, NJ).
